The Misadventures of Polly Gillespie by Polly Gillespie

Polly Gillespie needs little introduction. She is one of New Zealand’s best known radio personalities. Growing up in Wellington, my weekdays began with our radio tuned into The Morning Crew, co-hosted by Polly and Grant.

Polly has entertained audiences for years and now shares reports from the battlefield of a riotous life! This isn’t a memoir, she’s not done yet, says Polly. In true Polly style, she openly shares some of the ups and downs of life, complete with amusing advice that is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud.

“This is a book I wanted to write to either lead you away from misadventures you don’t need to have, or assure you that we all make some pretty random choices as we race or plod along life’s highways and byways,” she explains.

Chapters include life lessons, being a woman, our bodies, sex and men and sex, and family.

I’m looking forward to Polly’s future memoir about all the “famous weird and wonderful people I’ve met, sat down and chatted with, and on occasion slept with.”

Polly has also recorded her reports from a riotous life as an audio book. Follow Polly online.
