Like all Lynley Dodd books, Slinky Malinki Early Bird is filled with fun rhymes that roll off the tongue and is just as much fun to read as it is for the child to have it read to them.
Slinky Malinki is up to mischief again, this time by purring and pouncing and bouncing his family out of their beds… so he can promptly go back to one of their warm beds himself. As a parent it is a fun read, even if you don’t have a cat, because Slinky Malinki’s methods of getting the family out of bed aren’t too different from a child wanting their parents to get up in the morning when all the parents want is just another hour or two’s sleep!
The board book is a great size to read, and is more durable than any other format, which is great because my daughter loves this book, and as a result it gets thrown around the room a lot.
Ideal for children under six, Slinky Malinki Early Bird is a fun rhyming read and a must-have to add to your Lynley Dodd collection.
