Chelsea Winter’s last cookbook, Tasty, was the bestselling New Zealand book last year, and her latest cookbook, Nourish, is sure to be another bestseller. The appeal of her latest cookbook lies in the fact that the recipes are all family favourites.  Chelsea is a mum, and she realised how difficult it was to come up with meals, day in, day out, that would appeal to picky eaters. So, she set to work creating a cookbook that would be a go-to resource, featuring delicious, nutrient-dense meals that everyone in the family would enjoy.

There are so many standouts in this book, but to choose a few to give you a ‘flavour’ of the gems included, how about:

  • Shreddy chicken tacos – delicious, and Chelsea adds black beans to boost protein and nutritional value.

  • Tasty beef hotpot – a classic dish, perfect for cooler nights.

  • The best cottage pie – the ultimate comfort food, the mashed potatoes make this dish!

  • Spaghetti & meatballs – all-time favourites with kids and adults!

  • Crispy fish cakes – bursting with flavour, this is a winner in our home.

  • For something sweet, the chocolate fudge crisp and baked apricot bars are as scrummy as they sound.

These recipes are easy, wholesome and delicious. The instructions are easy to follow and the photography is moreish!
