Wholesome Made Easy by Sarah Pound

Sarah is a nutritionist and mother of three, and her latest cookbook focuses on simple meals and good food that fit busy lives. Tray bakes, one-pot dishes and slow-cooker gems - her style is not fancy or preachy – just simple, wholesome food for home cooks.
She says in her introduction: ‘Don’t let the simplicity of these meals fool you. Just because a recipe is quick or convenient doesn’t mean it skimps flavour. Every dish is packed with texture and personality.’
Standouts in our household include:
Spiced pumpkin, parsnip and wild rice salad – the roasted veges are the star in the tasty salad.
Tuna, potato & green bean salad with lemon, pickles & chilli – this has classic flavours with a bit more zing.
Slow-cooked beer & mushroom pie with layered puff top – such a flavourful pie!
Coriander lime chicken bowls – this is a fresh and zingy dish we loved.
Spiced salmon with sweet potato, chickpeas & greens - an impressive recipe
Greek lamb meatball & roasted vegetable tray bake – so easy and so tasty.
Wholesome by Sarah has over 100 fresh, family-friendly recipes. This book is fabulous!
