As she grows up, Alice struggles to connect with her mum, but finds common ground with their love of The Smiths. When Alice hatches a plan to bond with Gina, she inadvertently causes chaos that threatens to divide the family forever.

THE MORE YOU IGNORE ME is a comical, yet sometimes stark insight into a quirky and colourful family and their search for hope and happiness.
