Steve Cavanagh is the author of Thirteen, The Liar, The Plea, The Defence and The Cross. Born in Belfast, he studied Law in Dublin and currently practices civil rights law. He has been involved in several high profile cases, including a recent case where he represented a factory worker who suffered racial abuse in the workplace. The worker won the largest award of damages for race discrimination in Northern Ireland legal history.
