When Zeb uses his superpowers to blend in with a zebra crossing and play tricks on unsuspecting pedestrians, he finds himself in hot water with a very angry, and hungry, lion. In a bid to placate the lion, he promises the feline that Marge will make endless mac 'n' cheese to feed the pride. But, Marge has lost her powers. Zeb, Marge and Barry, aka the terrible trio, must race against the clock to save themselves from becoming the lion's lunch.

The second in The Terrible Trio series, this graphic novel brings another dose of slapstick comedy and heartfelt friendship to younger readers.

Author Swapna Haddow has created a trio of lovable characters that will have readers laughing out loud. For those reading with an adult, the humour makes it fun to read aloud and there's so much room to play with expression and voice.

Illustrator Minky Stapleton breathes life into the story, with detailed and humorous artwork to match. Each character bursts with personality and expression.

Graphic novels are such an important and valuable resource for younger readers. The combination of pictures and text helps readers understand, decode and retain the story. For younger readers that lack reading confidence, a graphic novel's visual format and narrative structure gives readers a boost and helps nurture a love of reading.

Together Haddow and Stapleton have created a graphic novels series full of hilarity and heart that will both entice the non-readers and delight all those that dive in.
