Sir Singlet is the tale of a knight who hides a shocking secret beneath his immaculately armoured exterior: saggy singlets... sad stockings… and droopy knickers!
So he starts to sew, creating colourful undergarments, featuring the fearsome faces of dragons and vultures. When the King suddenly declares war, Sir Singlet steams in sporting his new range of “Knightwear”. Will his sartorial style give them the edge in the battle?
McMillan’s lively, rhyming text is accompanied by Kinnaird’s quirky cartoons that always go for extra gags. It got the thumbs up from my two.
