Angela Redfern and the Ripe Deli team celebrate 20 years of running the Ripe stores, and due to popular demand, they have just released their fourth cookbooks with more than 100 recipes. It also goes beyond just being a cookbook and looks at how we can do better with the way we produce and consume food, so Angela and selected guests share stories about sustainability. But of course the recipes are the hero of the new book.
There are so many fantastic recipes to choose from, but keeping in mind we have Christmas coming up, how about this for a menu:
Christmas Salmon
Smoked Brisket
Harissa Chicken with crispy potatoes
Plus any of their amazing salads, such as smoked eggplant hummus salad or Thai green rice salad.
And a Nectarine, Almond and Blackberry Picnic Slice or Pineapple, Lime and Coconut Slab Cake to finish.
At home we are lucky enough to have all four cookbooks now, and they make a fabulous set. We have so many favourite recipes from all the books, and I can see already that the new books as recipes that we will use often. I love that the books are arranged seasonally, and that the recipes are so delicious but also relatively easy to make. It’s no wonder the books are bestsellers, they really are something special.
