As a renowned music journalist and media personality, Ash London, has interviewed stars such as Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. She has drawn on her experiences working in the radio business to produce a first novel that is easily consumed in one or two days. Love on the Air is an entertaining and slow burn enemies to lovers romantic comedy.

Main character and air waves young gun, Alex York claims that ‘up until the age of twenty-nine and a half, if I wanted anything, I usually got it.’ But now, it seems not everything is going to plan. Navigating the grief of a relationship breakup, and newly jobless from what was a glamourous career as a radio host, Alex flees to an island and spends seven weeks with her best friend Vanessa. But depression is a bitch; she has no plans and no prospects. To top it off, she lives with her auntie May and uncle Billy and her love of outrageous shopping trips means money is running out fast.

While on the island she receives a text that will change her life. A once in a lifetime job has come up at her old radio station and she needs to get back home. Back in the office, Alex finds out she’s been offered a chance of replacing her radio idol Goldie on a primetime slot. Persuaded by her close friend and previous co-host Tom, Alex decides to take the challenge. She knows she can handle the station’s breakfast show better than anyone—especially the station’s other candidate, Darren Chase. What she doesn’t realise is that the position comes with a station manager who believes she’s not the ‘man’ for the job.

Nothing is plain sailing for the two breakfast show hosts as they face rumours and subterfuge in order to get Alex fired and replaced with Darren. With Goldie gone, Alex’s only allie is her new, devastatingly handsome boss, Leo, but he’s coping with his own problems.
