This handy guide promises that you will ‘get away from the everyday’ and boy, does this travel book deliver!
West Coast Australia has so much on offer, with adventures at every turn, whether it is culture, food, the outdoors or action adventures. Enjoy Aboriginal art and ancient rock carvings at Murujuga National Park, try some tasty Perth cuisine, swim with whale sharks or paraglider at Shelley Beach. Drive Kimberley’s Duncan Road or discover the native plants and wildlife at Dirk Hartog Island.
The beauty of this guide is the local expert recommendations, so you get the insider info on the best locations, local good scene and secret hangouts. As well as practical information about getting around and where to stay, there are comprehensive maps, and loads of tips to make the best of your trip.
This guide covers the Perth region, Margaret River and the South West, South Coast, Monkey Mia and the Central West, Ningaloo Coast & the Pilbar.
There are loads of colour photos to inspire you, and the travel guide also has QR codes for those who like to use them.
I can’t wait for my next trip. I think it will be a mix of some fabulous Margaret River Wines and hopefully I’m in time for the annual Western Australia Gourmet Escape. A trip to Bunbury sounds wonderful, as does whale watching at King George Sound, enjoying the ancient rock art in Kimberley, the dramatic limestone spires at The Pinnacles, and enjoying one of the many deserted beaches.
