Kylo Kitty Moves to the City is the first in a series of books by local author Chantal Venter. Writing and animals have always been Chantal’s greatest love, and it shows in this delightful picture inspired by her own cat who has big paws. Proceeds of the book sales will go to help give shelter animals a second chance at life.
Kylo Kitty has moved to a new city with his family, but he is keen to make new friends. So he leaves the house and goes on a journey, following a mysterious white tail and feet. He meets several creatures who don’t want to be his friend, and he gets lost, but thankfully Spooky, a white kitty, is able to help Kylo find his way back home and they become friends.
This is a delightful picture book of friendship and helping one another, and it is suitable for children from about three to seven years.
