Walter Nash was once a mild-mannered businessman with a loving family, a successful career, and the most exciting thing in his life was travelling to have a holiday on a tropical island. All of that changed when he discovered the company he worked for was a front for a criminal empire. After becoming an FBI informant, he has had to reinvent himself to take down criminal mastermind Victoria Steers. He looks different, and he has trained hard to have skills he can use in attack and defence. He’s become someone lethal.
Victoria has destroyed everything he holds dear – his family and his high-flying career - and he is intent on revenge. He goes to extreme lengths to go to Hong Kong to meet her in person, and is tasked with the new, near-impossible task of breaking her criminal mother out of prison in Myanmar. But when he gains her trust and becomes part of her inner circle, it turns out everything is different from what he first believed.
Hope Rises is page-turning with loads of action and twists. This is a superb thriller with a central hero you will be cheering for.
