Children’s author Peter Millett has written nearly 80 kids’ books in his career. If you piled them on top of each other they would be about the same height as me!
In his latest book, five little ducks need to get to class – but they keep forgetting things they need, like water and food, so that holds them up. The book is very colourful, cute and funny.
Five Little Ducks Want Off to School has cute, detailed pictures that kids will love to look at.
There is also a bonus CD, so you can hear the song also, which is sung by Jay Laga’aia. He’s super famous and is a movie actor as well as being a singer.
Little kids will love singing along and performing the actions. As well as reading the book you can sing along.
Peter Millett told us that sometimes an author can get stuck on the ending of a story, so he asked his wife who is a teacher to help him out. She said the best way to make five ducks who were mucking around looking for lost items get to school on time was to have a teacher ring a school bell loudly! So that’s what he did!
