Showtym Adventures: Casper, the Spirited Arabian by Kelly Wilson
In the third Showtym Adventure, Vicki takes on a bad-tempered Arabian pony in the hope of uncovering his potential. Despite his rough exterior, when Vicki first meets Casper she senses a gentle soul. Years of misunderstanding have left Casper both difficult to control and untrusting. Vicki is determined to help Casper trust humans again. Along the way, if she is to help Casper reach his potential, Vicki must learn the importance of patience and compromise.
What I love most about the Showtym Adventure series is that it is inspired by true events from the Wilson Sisters' childhoods. Vicki, Kelly and Amanda Wilson are well known siblings on the international equestrian scene and have gained global attention for their taming of wild horses.
Casper, the Spirited Arabian follows Dandy, the Mountain Pony and Cameo, the Street Pony in the Showtym Adventures series. Kelly Wilson is also the author of For the Love of Horses, Stallion Challenges, Mustang Ride, Saving Snow Brumbies and Ranger the Kaimanawa Stallion. Alongside her sisters she has starred in television's Keeping up with the Kaimanawas, which followed their work taming New Zealand's wild horses.
