In the Book Bubble with…Christine Leunens

In this week’s episode of the Book Bubble podcast Stacy Gregg talks to Christine Leunen, author of Caging Skies.

Caging Skies was originally published in 2008, but is once more on the international best-seller lists thanks to Taiki Waititi's daring adaptation, Jo-Jo Rabbit. Waititi won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay and in this podcast Leunens talks about being on the red carpet that night, her feelings at having her words rewritten for screen, and the differences between her novel and the movie.

Christine is the third Bubble in this series by writers Nicky Pellegrino and Stacy Gregg (previous Bubbles feature Brandy Scott and Elizabeth Knox).

Book Bubble is currently available on Stitcher and Podbean and each morning will go live on Newsroom. Here’s the link for this week’s episode:
