Edmonds has always been the ‘go to’ cookbook. Basic but never-fail recipes that satisfy, one never feeling the need to have illustrations. One looks forward to seeing how it compares and which of the 130 recipes have been selected, wouldn’t have been an easy choice.

I’d love this.. my original Edmonds Cookery Book (circa 1966) has many pages stuck together in the cakes and biscuit section… thanks to the kids sticky fingers, whilst learning to bake goodies for themselves. I have to say they learned well.. The Edmonds cook book was almost fail safe, with easy instructions.
